Chicken Pirate

Step multiplier game by 100HP Gaming

About the game

Chicken Pirate is a step multiplier dressed as a duel. Instead of crossing a road, the chicken fights skeleton pirates one after another, and each opponent carries the multiplier that beating it pays.

Winning a fight advances the run and raises the figure; losing one ends the round and the stake with it. Cashing out after any won fight settles at the multiplier reached — the same decision the road games are built on, with a different picture over it.

What this game adds is Bonus Hit: a feature that fires at random on a middle step, takes out one to three enemies at once, and guarantees the step after it is safe. It cannot trigger on the first step or in the last five.

How to play

  1. Set a stake

$0.10 to $150 for the round.

  2. Choose a mode

Low, Medium, High or Extreme — this sets how many fights the run has and how high the multiplier can reach.

  3. Fight the next pirate

Each opponent shows the multiplier that beating it pays.

  4. Win and continue, or cash out

A win advances the run and raises the figure; cashing out settles at whatever has been reached.

  5. Watch for a Bonus Hit

It fires at random mid-run, clears one to three enemies at once, and makes the following step safe.

  6. Or lose a fight

The round ends there and the stake goes with it.

97% is high for the format — above every InOut road game except the original Chicken Road, and matching the best of BGaming's titles.

The ceiling belongs to Extreme: x55,833.16 across fourteen fights. That is far below the road games' seven-figure headlines, but it is a figure the source publishes for every mode rather than for one.

Variance is rated high, and the mode table explains why: on Extreme a run is fourteen coin-flips against an escalating payout, so most rounds end early by design.

Strengths and weaknesses

Pros

  • 97% published RTP, high for the format
  • Multiplier ranges published for all four modes
  • Bonus Hit can clear several enemies and guarantee the next step
  • Cash out after any won fight

Cons

  • High variance — on Extreme most runs end early
  • Low mode tops out at 62.93x across thirty fights
  • Bonus Hit fires at random, so it cannot be played for

Final verdict

Chicken Pirate is unusually well documented for the format. Four modes with the fight count and the multiplier range published for each is more than the road games offer, and at 97% the return is near the top of the format.

Bonus Hit is a genuine addition rather than decoration: a random clear of up to three enemies with a guaranteed safe step after it changes what a run is worth mid-way through. That it cannot fire early or late keeps it from deciding the round outright.

The counterweight is the shape of the modes. Low gives thirty fights for a ceiling under 63x, so the safe route pays very little; the figures worth the game are on Extreme, where fourteen consecutive wins is what they cost.
